Sandra has played a crucial role in co-creating the NIWEE (the National Indigenous Women Entrepreneurs’ Ecosystem) Business Modeling course for Indigenous women interested in learning the fundamentals of launching and running a business. The course was co-created with the help of an Indigenous Advisory and Indigenous women consultants. It was structured as an experiential and practical training course. It reflects Indigenous ways of learning, seeing and doing.
Sandra has research and professional experience in science and technology, research and innovation management and entrepreneurship. She leads the Inclusive Innovation Research Cluster. She is the Lead at the Institute for Science, Society and Policy and is an Associate Professor at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa.
